Growing Organic Blueberries for 23 years!
Hello blueberry lovers!
On 3/19/23 we sustained a hard freeze that damaged most of our 2023 blueberry crop. Because of the unseasonably warm temps of late February and early March, most of our field was either flowering or had already set fruit the night of the freeze. Even though it was only 6 hours of below freezing temps, it occurred when our field was most vulnerable. It was heartbreaking to lose what promised to be a bumper crop. :-(
We are still waiting for the freeze-damaged fruit to shake off the bushes, but looks like we will not open for picking this summer. If anything changes and we find pockets of berries, we will post on Fb, Instagram & here. We are so sorry. As always, thank you for the all of your love and support! Peace! ❤️🌻✌️
